Fall Career Fair 2014

Resume BLITZ!

  • Monday, September 15: 9 am to Noon
  • Center for Career and Professional Development, 316 Hendrix Student Center
  • Need your resume polished up before the career fair? We have career center staff and employer representatives on hand to review and give constructive feedback on your resume. No appointment needed, just stop by the career center during the hours listed above. But don't wait until the last day, come in early to make sure you get a spot. Sessions available on a first come, first served basis.

No Drop-In Sessions or Appointments during Resume Blitz and Career Fair

  • There will be no drop-in sessions or counseling appointments available starting Friday, September 12 and continuing through Thursday, September 18.
  • Drop-in sessions and counseling appointments will resume Friday, September 19

Career Fair Inside Edition: The Dos and Dont's Workshop

  • Monday, September 15, 5 to 6 pm
    Blackbaud & Turner Construction presenting
  • Center for Career and Professional Development, 316 Hendrix Student Cneter
  • This interactive workshop will help you in preparing for the fairs by knowing what employers are seeking when approaching them about possible opportunities for the future. You will learn what to bring to the event, the dress, how to find what organizations will be attending, and logistics of the fairs. During this time employers who frequently recruit at Clemson will give you the inside scoop on the “do’s and don’ts” to make your visit productive. You will be able to ask questions, as there will be plenty of time, so come prepared!

FALL Diversity Networking Night

  • Monday, September 15, 4 to 7 pm
  • Madren Conference Center
  • New in 2014, the Michelin Career Center is hosting a Diversity Networking Night. The Diversity Networking Night is designed to connect underrepresented students at Clemson University to employers who are seeking to further diversify their organization.
  • Guest speakers, Devin McClain with Turner Construction Company and Tony Washington with GE Aviation, will kick off the night by sharing best practices on networking with employers, how to sell your diverse experiences and strategies to maximize your networking experience.

Construction Industry Career Fair 2014

  • Wednesday, October 1, 6 to 8:30 PM
  • Almeda Jacks Ballroom, 2nd Floor, Hendrix Student Center
  • New in 2014, the Construction Industry Career Fair is a partnership between the Construction Science and Management Program and the Center for Career and Professional Development. Hosted in a smaller venue, this fair will be for all majors (including construction science and management) interested in working in the construction industry.

Student can gather information about programs of interest and the application process. Graduate and undergraduate students of all majors and academic years are welcome.
