What do you do in your current position? How long have you been in your current role?
I joined the Clemson family in April of 2022. Before Clemson, I worked in industry for 10+ years and most recently, I was in career services and corporate relations in both Engineering and Statistics at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In my role at Clemson, I lead the Employer Relations team- we build relationships with employers who want to recruit Clemson students- Go Tigers!
Where are you from and what is your educational background?
I moved to Clemson from Illinois (not Chicago), but I am originally from Georgia. I earned my Masters of Education in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership with a focus in Higher Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Communications and Religious Studies from Lee University. I’ve recently been dabbling in a Ph.D. at Clemson in Education leadership; here goes nothing!
What is a fun fact about you?
Do I have to pick just one!? I like to say the 3 C’s you can remember about me: I like Coffee, Cross training and Cute dogs. I’ve lived in 7 states and 10 cities!
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy building relationships and bringing employers and students together to build meaningful connections. I get the best of both worlds working with students and employers in my current role. We also know how to have fun in the CCPD!

What is your educational background?
I am a two-time Clemson graduate, with a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance.
What does your job entail?
I am part of the Employer Relations Team. We build relationships with employers who want to recruit Clemson students!
What do you like most about your job?
I haven’t been here long, so I’m sure I’ll have more to add a year from now! That said, the CCPD has an extremely supportive, engaged workplace culture and I truly enjoy being part of the team and building relationships with all of the other team members!
What is your work history?
I have worked for Clemson University for most of my professional career. I started as the Webmaster for Clemson Athletics, and went on to serve as Assistant and then Associate Director for Athletic Communications, spending a total of 13 years with the athletic department. After that, I spent 4.5 years as the Executive Assistant in the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Office before beginning my current role.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Saline, Michigan, a small town near Ann Arbor, and lived there until I began my freshman year at Clemson.
What is a fun fact about you many people may not know?
I have had some interesting part-time jobs over the years. I was a seasonal tax preparer for H&R Block for eight years after college. Since leaving Athletics full-time, I have had the opportunity to stay on in an evening and weekend role, serving as a statistician for the television broadcasts for many Clemson home sporting events, including baseball, basketball, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball!

What do you do in your current position? How long have you been in your current role?
I started with the CCPD in January of 2019. With over 8 years of progressive experience in career services and employer engagement, my mission is to bridge the gap between academia and industry at Clemson University. My expertise lies in orchestrating large-scale career events, providing comprehensive career counseling, and fostering meaningful employer partnerships. Our team’s vision aligns with the university’s commitment to student success, ensuring we offer diverse and inclusive opportunities that resonate with our community’s values.

Graduate Assistant - Employer Relations
What is your position, and what do you do?
I joined the CCPD team during the Summer of 2024 as the Graduate Assistant for Employer Relations and Events. In this role, I am responsible for administrative duties such as providing career counseling and conducting workshops, as well as assisting with customer services related to employers.
Where are you from and what is your educational background?
I am a May 2024 graduate of Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia where I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and Leadership Studies. Now, I am at Clemson University working to receive my Master of Education in Student Affairs with hopes of becoming a Student Affairs professional after graduation.
