The Commercial Analyst will provide financial analysis on commercial performance and margins (product/customer) as well as provide decision making support to the sales, product management, finance, and CBI senior management teams.
Job responsibilities:

Evaluate sales and profitability performance across products, customers, and regions

Conduct price-volume-mix, margin, and customer profitability analyses to support pricing strategies, sales growth initiatives, new product launches, and S&OP decision-making

Develop and automate reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools using business intelligence platforms such as Power BI and QlikView to improve insights and streamline processes

Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to drive pricing improvements, SKU rationalization, forecasting, budgeting, commission calculations, and business planning while providing actionable recommendations to enhance revenue and margin performance

Support month-end close, forecasting cycles, management reporting, and ad hoc strategic analyses for senior leadership

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with analysis experience, complementary work experience

MBA degree in Finance or CPA, CMA preferred

Minimum of 3 years of related business experience. Strong emphasis should be put on experience in these areas: analysis of product profitability evaluations; contribution margin studies; development of financial models to assess, among other things, cost/volume/profit relationships

Superior data management and modeling skills required. Experienced user of Microsoft Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).-SAP and G/L Wands, QlikView and other BI Tools, and financial consolidation systems experience preferred.-

Experience in budgeting and forecasting

Experience working with SAP is preferred

Ability to work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a mature and organized approach to the workload
