Responsibilities:
This self-starter will work with Packaging Engineers to develop innovative and cost-effective packaging to address company objectives. The role is responsible for the coordination and development of packaging components and specifications, implementation into production, and ongoing technical support after commercialization.
- Design, evaluate, cost, specify, and implement primary packaging for new products from the conceptual phase to production.
- Development of club displays and special sets per Marketing & Sales requirements.
- Ongoing technical support and trouble-shooting for new and existing product packaging.
- Initiate, evaluate, and implement productivity improvements to achieve optimum use of facilities and resources.
- Provide packaging assistance to other departments and subsidiaries.
- Maintain and upgrade knowledge and education.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing BS major in Packaging Science, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Management
- Expected graduation date and available for full-time employment in 2026 or 2027
- 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
- Working knowledge of packaging technologies
- Good project management skills
- Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
- Experience designing packaging in ArtiosCAD preferred but not required
