As a Packaging Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting packaging development, innovation, and commercialization activities within a global consumer goods company. Internship assignments will vary based on business needs, team placement, and individual interests.
Responsibilities
- Depending on the team, responsibilities may include:
- Supporting packaging development projects from concept through implementation.
- Assisting with packaging design, testing, evaluation, and specification activities.
- Contributing to packaging improvements that support quality, performance, sustainability, cost, and consumer experience objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and business initiatives.
- Assisting with troubleshooting, technical support, and continuous improvement efforts for packaging solutions.
- Developing reports, presentations, and recommendations for key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in packaging, product development, innovation, or manufacturing environments.
