The Wednesday Bridge afterschool program at Central Presbyterian welcomes infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary students to spend Wednesday afternoons at church for fun, music, Bible stories, and community.
Elementary Program Staff will be responsible for leading a group of elementary students (8-16 students) during Wednesday afternoon programs at church. This will include supervising students throughout activities, games, handbells, and choir. Program staff will lead a small group Bible Study with their students (lesson plans and curriculum provided). Program staff will be expected to supervise students with positive behavior management throughout music rotations, but will not be expected to teach handbells or choir.
Wednesday Afternoon Elementary Program Staff will work from 2:30 pm to 5:15pm each Wednesday, with the option to cover dinner shifts till 6:00 pm. For the 2026-2027 School Year, Wednesday programs will run Aug 19–Dec 16, and Jan 13–May 5 (except for Nov 25 for Thanksgiving and Mar 31 for Spring Break).
