Description
As a Project Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, building, and commissioning the mechanical portions of the company’s industrial equipment projects. Specific duties include the following:
- Mechanical Engineering design of new industrial painting system projects. These projects typically involve specialty HVAC equipment, combustion systems, material handling equipment and structural design of equipment supports and housings.
- Create mechanical drawings for projects using AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS drawing software.
- Design system components in compliance with NFPA, ICC and other industry standards.
- Create material requirement lists for procurement of system components.
- Monitor fabrication of the designed equipment during manufacturing and field construction.
- Work with other engineers to commission industrial projects in the field.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Able and willing to travel to start up and install projects
