- Work with Camp Leopold staff (Education Programs Director and Office Manager) to help develop, oversee, and present annual program budgets, business plans and strategic plans while exercising sound fiscal management
- Develop and implement a Camp Leopold marketing plan ensuring SCWA strategic plan attendance goals for Camp Leopold and Camp Leopold +PLUS programs are reached. Monitor progress and submit performance reports. Present Camp Leopold Reports at Board meetings
- Develop and implement a Camp Leopold Retention plan ensuring we reach our strategic plan attendance goals and keep schools coming back
- Conduct presentations for public and private school education programs, superintendents, and school administration across South Carolina at conferences and workshops and other school meetings
- Coordinate follow-up meetings with school administrators and teachers who have attended Camp Leopold programs to assess quality of experiences and opportunities for improvement
- Recruit, motivate, train and lead Camp Leopold instructors by ensuring positive staff experiences through on-boarding, training, surveys, conversations and other activities as identified which in turn lead to positive experiences for our students
- Comply and oversee all emergency procedures appropriate to the site and to ensure the safety of the campers, staff, and volunteers
- Develop and review annual camp curriculum, schedule and safety procedures
- Adhere to and comply with all ACA guidelines
- Create social media and marketing content for staffing and program operations
- Attend SCWA special events as assigned
- Promote SCWA’s Camp Leopold & +PLUS programs to the general public, SCWA members, chapter volunteers, school administrators, teachers and corporations
