Job Description:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support our team in designing power, lighting, and Fire Alarm systems for a wide range of facility types. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, and EIT’s contributing to active projects and learning industry tools and standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in designing electrical systems for healthcare, education, sports, entertainment and industrial facilities
- Help prepare drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
- Perform lighting calculations and load analysis
- Participate in site visits and team meetings
- Learn applicable codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, and IECC
What We’re Looking For:
- Enrolled in an Electrical or Architectural Engineering program
- Interest in building systems design and consulting
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Eager to learn in a collaborative environment
