About the SAP Internship Experience Program

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week in either NYC or Newtown Square, PA

Expected start date to end date: July 2026 – July 2027

Working hours: Full-time 40 hrs./week

Who You Are:

Are you a passionate, curious individual with a desire to build a career in talent acquisition? Do you have strong networking, relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills?

SAP’s Talent Discovery team has an exciting opportunity where you will learn all aspects of SAP’s recruiting process, including client management, sourcing, candidate selection, and offer negotiation.

What you’ll do:

Project management:

  • Recruiting operations support (e.g., weekly updates on open/filled requisitions), special project tracking, and presentation-ready decks

  • Support AI adoption through communications and enablement (e.g., job aids, training notes, best practices) and help track adoption metrics and feedback loops

  • Shadow and train under senior recruiters

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Talent Attraction:

  • Recruit for intern and Academy hiring vacancies across North America

  • Build relationships with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, devise and execute effective recruiting strategies, and provide a central source of support and knowledge to the businesses

  • Manage all phases of the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, selecting candidates, negotiating, presenting offers, and finalizing hires

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, colleagues, and other team members to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent

  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates, including screening, timely feedback, and onboarding, and ensure that every candidate has a positive experience

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education : Ideally pursuing a master’s degree in HR, Psychology, or a related field; seniors in a bachelor’s program will be considered

  • Eligibility : Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a bachelor’s or master’s program (or JD/PhD)

  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to scrub and interpret data using formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups, and graphs

  • Strong PowerPoint and graphic design skills

  • Strong networking skills

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Organized with a high attention to detail

  • High initiative and strong independent worker

  • Ability to work with ambiguity

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 0-USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
