At the Ronald McDonald House, you do more than make a living; you make a difference.
As a Development & Events Intern, you will:
- Assist with event planning and execution of Hearts & Hands Gala, Plane Pull, Golf Tournament, and other major fundraising events
- Support efforts for the Hearts & Hands Gala (black tie event), including but not limited to coordinating seating arrangements, overseeing event activations, and running check-in services
- Set up Silent Auction at the Hearts & Hands Gala for an engaging guest experience and simple checkout process
- Oversee Plane Pull event volunteer activities with leaderboard management, vendor coordination, and more.
- Analyze historical event data for major trends and donor statistics
- Create event collateral in line with RMHC brand guidelines
- Organize on-campus collaboration opportunities with RMHC staff and Clemson students
- Manage donor relationships and sponsorship opportunities
- Work with staff on other assignments as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work 10-15 hours per week in person (Greenville, SC)
- Prior experience or interest in event planning, sales, and/or business operations
- Strong background of Canva and/or professional writing
- Comfortable navigating Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Must be available for all RMHC fundraising events
- The ideal candidate is outgoing, takes initiative, and is comfortable speaking to new people on an individual basis or in group settings
