We are seeking a top-performing recent college graduate to work as an Associate in our Management Training Program. This is a 24-month program where you will work directly with our senior executive team, including the CEO. At the conclusion of the program, it is expected that you will be on Quarterdeck’s executive track.
Your role will be to execute tasks that the executives would otherwise be doing themselves. Your specific job function will be dynamic from week to week with some longer-term projects interspersed with short bursts of high-value assignments. You will primarily be reporting directly to the CEO but will also work with other members of the senior executive team in the marketing, finance, operations, and development functions.
You will be expected to be resourceful and a self-starter. This is a demanding role designed specifically to teach you how to be a high-performing executive in a dynamic, hospitality-centric business.
Position begins Summer 2026 with competitive compensation.
Sample Job Functions
- Develop sales, marketing, and/or business plans across our real estate, marina, club, and restaurant divisions
- Underwriting and financial modeling for prospective investments
- Project management
- Executing social media marketing campaigns
- Improve internal systems and operational workflows
- Meeting preparation / Meeting scheduling
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks that free up CEO and executive team members’ schedules
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from a competitive college or university
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Highly adaptable, thrives in a high-velocity environment
- Detail-oriented with superior written and verbal communication skills
- Discretion when handling confidential information
- Exceptional organization skills
- Driver’s License
- Microsoft Suite: Advanced experience
- Must live in, or move, to Charleston
