Job Summary:
The Pbi Production Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering and technical support in all plant production areas, troubleshooting problems, and implementing process changes / improvements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor equipment performance, process conditions, and updating P&IDs and electrical loop sheets as needed
• Investigate process upsets to determine root causes and help identify corrective actions
• Work closely with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment problems and ensure that effective repairs are made
• Change or implement process and equipment modifications to improve product quality
• Execute trial work to support the development of new products
Experience Level and Job Requirements:
• Bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
• 2-3 years engineering work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Basic computer skills / knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Word applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
