Essential Job Functions:
- Provide hands-on support for daily operations including troubleshooting automated processes or equipment when errors occur.
- Lead a team of talented electrical technicians toward the maintenance and improvement of manufacturing systems.
- Apply knowledge of electrical theory by evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs.
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components.
- Report to work for the scheduled hours and be able to appropriately respond to situations which require attention outside of regularly scheduled hours to complete assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering required (students graduating in Fall 2024 are welcomed to apply)
- 0-2 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial environment
- Familiarity with three-phase power, AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives, PLC systems and distributive control systems
- AutoCAD experience and ability to interpret schematics
- Adherence to all safety standards and procedures
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
