Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for civil engineering design, site planning, permitting, and other civil engineering tasks. The role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams, conducting site visits, preparing design plans and specifications, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design
- Proficiency with Carlson, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience using other design software to include QGIS or similar software, HY-8, Hydraflow Hydrographs/Hydrology Studio, Hydraulic Toolbox, EPANET, PCSWMM
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Good communication skills, multi-tasking, attentiveness to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and interface with team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
