ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

H&W Electrical is looking for a Marketing Assistant who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help shape how we tell our story.

This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work closely with our Director of Marketing and play a hands-on role in content creation, social media, and brand storytelling. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Travel to H&W job sites to capture professional photos that showcase our team and the work we do
- Interview H&W employees for spotlight features and human-interest posts on the company website
- Develop original ideas for social media content and present them to the Director of Marketing for review
- Manage and publish approved social media posts across H&W’s platforms
- Assist with website content creation, updates, and day-to-day content management
- Research audience engagement trends and share data-informed insights with the Director
- Help coordinate marketing activities across multiple job sites and client projects
- Support the Director of Marketing in executing the overall creative vision for the H&W brand
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You do not need years of professional experience to be a strong candidate for this role — but we are looking for someone who brings the right combination of skills, curiosity, and drive.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong organizational and time management skills — able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and basic content management systems
- Experience with — or strong interest in — digital content creation, photography, or videography
- Comfortable coordinating schedules and logistics across multiple locations
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is a plus
Personal Qualities:
- Eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
- Creative thinker who is comfortable generating and pitching new ideas
- Self-starter who takes ownership of their work and follows through on commitments
- Professional and approachable — comfortable representing H&W in the field
- Genuinely interested in the skilled trades, construction, or industrial sectors
A NOTE ON THE TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Job site travel is a required and regular part of this position. Travel is primarily local to the Greenville area with occasional regional trips. Candidates must be fully available and willing to travel as needed. This is a non-negotiable requirement, so please only apply if you are comfortable with it.
