ABOUT THE JOB: The National Sales Representative is responsible to maximize sales opportunities, close contracts for national sales customers at defined monthly goals that ensure partner and customer satisfaction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospects, qualifies, and generates sales within the company’s established processes.
- Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
- Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
- Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers’ communities.
- Works closely with Support, Account Management and Business Development.
- Responds to requests from customers for information and gives online presentations.
- Attend trade shows as needed.
- Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
- Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the construction industry.
- Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
- Attend sales meetings and training. Continue education by participating in manufacturer seminars and conferences.
- Must be able to travel
Education and/or Experience:
- Excellent communications skills and professional presentation.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Problem solving approach to daily duties.
- Able to organize, plan, and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Great attention to detail and stress tolerance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- 25 years in a sales role.
- Excellent knowledge of sales analysis and metrics.
- Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client requirements.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and professional personal presentation.
- Must possess problem solving approach..
