Job Title: Analytics Engineer Intern
Location: Anderson, SC (First Quality Tissue SE)
Job Purpose:

The Analytics Engineer will collaborate with experienced data scientists and engineers to develop analytical reports and conduct data science studies which drive innovation and improve business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the data science team to understand business problems and identify opportunities to leverage analytics and machine learning.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from enterprise SQL databases and historians.
- Develop and deploy analytical solutions using python and relevant libraries.
- Visualize and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using python and/or Power BI.
- Collaborate with manufacturing operations teams for integration of analytical and machine learning tools with operations for real-time optimization.

Experience / Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum 3.2 GPA.

- Experience with SQL with data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-driven and motivated to complete projects independently.
