Join a team supporting advanced automated CNC machines in the aerospace industry. After a 3-month trainup in Washington State, you will be based in Charleston, SC on site at an aircraft manufacturing facility. There you will support acceptance testing for new equipment and then provide ongoing support for the machines once they enter production.
In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the factory maintenance teams to troubleshoot machine issues, perform root cause analysis, identify reliability improvements, and implement corrective actions in order to maximize machine uptime. Ideal candidates for the position have a strong mechanical or controls engineering foundation. Experience with electrical troubleshooting, CNC controls, and machine assembly is preferred.
