Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in landscape design and development, site engineering, and planning-related work. Candidates must be capable of self-sufficiency and working on all aspects of projects.
Essential Functions
- Assists in preparing design plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and contract documents for landscape and engineering projects. These may include planned communities,
- urban design, redevelopment projects, park design, and residential subdivisions.
- Assists with business development and managing projects
- for multiple public and private sector clients.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of landscape construction techniques and plant materials.
- Knowledge of storm drainage, water & sewer, stormwater, site grading, and sediment control.
- The ability to estimate costs for landscape and engineering designs is a plus.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Education and Experience
- BS in Landscape Architecture or technical equivalent.
- 0-2 years of landscape design experience.
