Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compressed Air Auditor to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates in engineering or technical fields who are interested in hands-on fieldwork, data analysis, and real-world problem solving within industrial environments.
As a Compressed Air Auditor, you will travel to customer facilities, collect system data, evaluate performance, and assist in developing engineering recommendations that improve efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site audits of compressed air systems at manufacturing facilities
- Collect and record system data including flow, pressure, power consumption, and equipment performance
- Install and manage temporary data logging equipment
- Analyze collected data to identify inefficiencies, leaks, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in developing detailed engineering reports with findings and recommendations
- Create system diagrams (P&IDs) and document existing equipment layouts
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop system optimization strategies
- Communicate findings clearly with both internal teams and clients
- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel frequently (50–75%)
- Ability to work independently in industrial environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis experience preferred)
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid systems, or industrial equipment is a plus
