Are you interested in how marketing campaigns and creative projects are organized and delivered? The Division of Marketing and Communications is seeking a Marketing and Communications Operations/Project Management Intern to support the systems and workflows that keep our projects moving. This internship is ideal for undergraduate students interested in marketing operations, project management, communications, or business process improvement. We are looking for a student with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong interest in problem-solving. Typical Daily Tasks • Build and organize marketing projects in our project management platform (Wrike) • Create task lists, timelines, and workflows for communications and marketing initiatives • Help develop and update internal process documentation and workflow guides • Assist with project intake forms and request processes • Draft meeting agendas, notes, and action item lists for project planning meetings • Support the project management team in improving workflow efficiency Experience You Will Gain • Hands-on experience with project management software • Exposure to real marketing and communications projects • Experience building workflow systems and operational processes • Practical skills in organization, documentation, and team coordination
Eligibility requirements: UPIC interns must be enrolled, matriculating, full-time (12+ credit hours for part time interns) Clemson University undergraduate students in good academic standing and non-academic alert status (minimum cumulative Clemson GPA of 2.0) and in good status with the UPIC program. Once selected, in order to participate in the UPIC Program, student interns must enroll in the required INT course ($200 course fee) and complete hiring paperwork with the UPIC office.
Interns cannot begin working until the hiring process is complete.
