The College of Science Global Engagement Marketing and Recruitment intern will assist the Assistant Director of Global Engagement with College of Science study abroad program marketing and recruitment efforts. Duties include but are not limited to:
Taking lead on creating and distributing content to market faculty-directed study abroad programs, working with Assistant Director and Marketing and Communications team to ensure digital materials are accessible,
Developing social media content ideas in collaboration with Assistant Director and Marketing and Communications team,
Conducting study abroad classroom presentations to target audiences of students,
Coordinating schedule and materials for Fall Study Abroad Fair,
If interested/qualified, assisting with peer advising of prospective study abroad students,
Updating study abroad course equivalencies worksheet and Study Abroad Connections database of study abroad alumni,
Weekly check-ins with Assistant Director to discuss ongoing projects and ideas for projects of related personal interest
The Science Global Engagement Marketing and Recruitment Intern must:
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills,
Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Suite a plus,
Have fluency is social media platforms and strategies,
Be dependable, punctual, and have a professional and respectful attitude,
Be self-motivated and flexible,
Study Abroad experience is a bonus, but not required

Eligibility requirements: UPIC interns must be enrolled, matriculating, full-time (12+ credit hours for part time interns) Clemson University undergraduate students in good academic standing and non-academic alert status (minimum cumulative Clemson GPA of 2.0) and in good status with the UPIC program. Once selected, in order to participate in the UPIC Program, student interns must enroll in the required INT course ($200 course fee) and complete hiring paperwork with the UPIC office.
Interns cannot begin working until the hiring process is complete.
