Duties/Responsibilities
The Events and Operations department with Clemson Athletics is looking for qualified individuals to fill positions on their Guest Services Student staff. This position(s) was created not only to benefit the fans, but to provide leadership and development opportunities for student workers by assisting with department operations. The Guest Services Student will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to:
- Assist fans by communicating directions to specific areas of the venue at their request (first aid, concessions, correct gates, ticket resolution locations, etc.).
- Greet all guests with a positive attitude and a smile.
- Represent Clemson Athletics by providing exceptional customer service at various assigned entry gates as needed.
- Resolve and diffuse any situations that may arise with upset guests with a calm demeanor.
- Be the point of contact for any lost and found items at assigned entry gates.
- Be informed on Kulturecity bags and be able to answer any general questions fans may have such as where they can get them.
- Work with professionalism by abiding to the dress code and dressing for any inclement weather.
- Be able to effectively communicate any issues that require a supervisor’s involvement.
Opportunities to work other Sporting Events as part of the Event Operations Team.
Qualifications
- Must be an active Clemson student
- Ability to work all Home Football games
- Be a team player with strong communication skills
- Must be enthusiastic and show a genuine interest in Guest Services
