Campus Reservations and Events (CRE) – Operations Assistant
The Campus Reservations and Events (CRE) Operations team is responsible for preparing and maintaining reservable spaces across campus, supporting conferences and programs, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Our team sets up furniture and technology in event spaces, responds to client needs, and works closely with campus partners to deliver high-quality service.
We are a fast-paced, team-oriented department that values reliability, collaboration, and student development.
Position Overview
Operations Assistants are essential members of our operations team, helping create positive experiences for campus guests and event participants. This position is hands-on and active, and is ideal for students who enjoy working behind the scenes, solving problems, and contributing to a supportive team environment.
This position starts in Fall 2026.
What You’ll Do

Set up and break down furniture, A/V equipment, and supplies in reservable spaces

Support the logistics of campus programs and events

Maintain cleanliness and organization in event and storage spaces

Communicate with professional staff and teammates to complete assigned tasks

Occasionally interact with clients and guests in a service-oriented manner

Follow safety procedures and report maintenance or facility concerns

Enrolled Clemson students

Ability to begin employment in Fall 2026

Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods

Previous operations, event, or facilities experience is a plus, but not required

Employment Period: Fall 2026 start

Work Hours: 12–18 hours per week. More hours may be available upon request.
(Includes occasional evenings and weekends depending on event needs.) -
Pay Rate: Entry Level – $8.50/hour

Uniform shirt provided; closed-toe shoes required on shift

Continuation Option: Students who wish to continue working in future semesters may request to remain employed, based on departmental needs and performance.
