An ArtistYear Resident Teaching Artist AmeriCorps Member is a National Service Posi on. ArtistYear Resident Teaching Artist AmeriCorps Members (hereafter referred to as “Members”) serve as full- time teaching artits in K-12 school Service Sites in partnership with existing arts specialists and other school faculty and staff. Members use student-centered creative learning experiences to improve the school experience, leading to an increase in empathy and social connections for students.

The Member’s term of service will run up to 50 weeks. The service year will begin no sooner than September 1, 2026 and end no later than June 30, 2026, except in extenuating circumstances.
