Career Fairs and Events

The Center for Career and Professional Development offers a variety of career events throughout the academic year, including university-wide biannual career fairs, smaller specialized career fairs, and collaborative events hosted in partnership with academic colleges, departments, and campus organizations. In addition to these larger events, employers can engage with students through resume critique sessions, employer tabling opportunities, career fair preparation events, and other targeted programs designed to support student career development. These events create valuable opportunities for employers to connect with Clemson students, promote career opportunities, build brand awareness, conduct preliminary candidate screening, and identify potential hires. At the same time, students gain insight into organizations, explore career paths, and develop meaningful professional connections. Together, these events support Clemson’s commitment to connecting talented students with employers seeking their next generation of talent.

Fall 2026 Career Fairs/Events

Our Main Campus Career Fair is Clemson University’s premier recruiting event, held each fall and spring semester. This large-scale, four-day fair is designed to maximize employer access to Clemson talent by connecting organizations with students from all majors, academic disciplines, and class years. Employers from a wide range of industries attend to recruit for full-time and internship opportunities while engaging with one of the nation’s top student talent pools. The structure of the fair is intentionally designed to create broad access and meaningful recruiting opportunities, allowing employers to connect with a large and diverse group of Clemson students across multiple days and industry areas.

Cancellations received before close of business on September 7 will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after close of business on September 7 will be responsible for the full registration fee and will not be refunded.

Registration assumes attendance and financial responsibility for the registration fee. Organizations that register and do not attend, without providing a cancellation by the September 7 deadline, will remain responsible for full payment of their invoice. Failure to attend does not constitute a cancellation. If you need to cancel your registration, please contact the Career Events team at careerevents@clemson.edu prior to the cancellation deadline.

The CSM Fall Career Fair is a premier recruiting event that connects top-tier students with leading construction industry employers. Known for its exceptional outcomes, the Construction Science and Management (CSM) program boasts a 100% job placement rate for graduates, making this event a highly valuable opportunity for companies seeking well-prepared, career-ready talent. While rooted in construction, the fair is open to students from all majors. Today’s construction firms rely on a wide range of skill sets—including accounting, communications, marketing, IT, and more—to support their daily operations and drive overall success. This event provides a unique platform for employers to engage with a diverse and talented student body, ensuring they can meet their evolving workforce needs.

The Actuarial Science and Financial Math Expo is a small career fair for Clemson University students and alumni who are interested in pursuing careers as actuaries or in the general areas of financial math or risk management, and it is open to everyone — including freshmen! The career fair helps students discover full-time and internship opportunities while building lasting relationships with employers that extend beyond the event and into future campus recruiting opportunities.

The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business Finance Networking Night is an opportunity for employers to network with students seeking internship and full-time opportunities.

Join the Clemson University Department of Mechanical Engineering for an exclusive networking dinner that connects employers with outstanding mechanical engineering undergraduate and graduate students in a relaxed, professional setting.

To help employers maximize their time, students will upload their resumes during registration. Participating companies will receive a resume folder before the event, allowing recruiters to identify students of interest and prepare for more focused conversations. Optional interview and presentation space will also be available following the dinner upon request.

Fall 2026 Employer Engagement Events

The Ask Me Anything tabling series provides students with a unique opportunity to engage with employers before the Fall Career Fair. Through casual conversations, students can practice networking, learn more about organizations and career opportunities, and receive firsthand advice on how to stand out during the recruiting process. These interactions help students build confidence, establish early connections, and gain valuable insight into employer expectations before attending the fair.

The Know Before You Go workshop series gives employers the opportunity to help Clemson students prepare for the Fall Career Fair by leading a 15–20 minute virtual workshop on Zoom. Each workshop features a designated career readiness topic—such as crafting an elevator pitch, networking with confidence, or following up after the fair—and is scheduled on a preselected date. Employers may choose a presentation time that best fits their schedule. This is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise, increase your organization’s campus presence, and connect with students before the Career Fair.

Before Career Fair Week begins, help Clemson’s transfer students build confidence and prepare for success by volunteering at our Transfer Student Prep event. Employer volunteers will provide resume reviews, practice elevator pitches, and share insights on making a great first impression at the career fair. Students will also learn how to research employers in ClemsonJobLink, receive a complimentary Career Closet visit, and have free professional headshots taken.

If you were once a transfer student yourself, this is a unique opportunity to connect with current transfer students, share your experience, and help them navigate their Clemson journey with confidence. Your guidance can make a lasting impact while allowing you to engage with talented students before Career Fair Week.

The Coffee & Critiques series gives employers the opportunity to help students prepare for the Fall Career Fair by providing individualized resume feedback in a casual, welcoming environment. Students will meet one-on-one with employers for brief resume reviews and, after their conversation, will receive a voucher to enjoy coffee at the on-site Starbucks. This event allows employers to share valuable industry insights, connect with potential candidates before the Career Fair, and help students build confidence as they prepare for recruiting.

Help Clemson students put their best foot forward before the career fair by volunteering at our drop-in Prepare for the Fair event. Employers provide valuable feedback on resumes, elevator pitches, networking strategies, and company research, giving students the confidence and skills they need to make meaningful connections at the fair. This is a great opportunity to increase your organization’s visibility on campus and build relationships before recruiting begins.
