A domestic internship search will take 4-6 months. When you are looking for an internship be sure to use many varied resources. Here are some options for you to consider:

    A listing of all the federal government organizations and their available jobs and internships
  • Monster.com
    Search for internships by clicking on "Find Jobs", then under key word type "internships"
  • The Washington Center
    Lists internship and seminar opportunities for all majors in Washington, D.C.
  • Rising Star Internships
    Lists internships by field of interest and allows you to post a resume for employers to view
  • internJobs.com
    Allows you to search for internships around the world by Keyword, Location, or Top Jobs
  • Direct Marketing Association Job Bank
    This site allows you to view a variety of opportunities, both domestic and international. When searching under job opportunities, choose "Student/Trainee/Interns" under the "Field" heading
  • InternshipPrograms.com
    Regional, national, and international internship opportunities
  • University of Dreams (http://summerinternships.com)
    Along with internship opportunities abroad, in places like London, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Sydney and Coasta Rica, this resource has internship opportunities for New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Fransisco.
