Seeking Full-time Employment

Finding a job is not a simple task and takes time. At the career center, we know it can be very stressful to find your first job after college. That’s why we have a variety of resources to help.

ClemsonJobLink

ClemsonJobLink is your connection to employers and job opportunities. In your ClemsonJobLink account, you can apply for jobs and sign up for on-campus interviews.  At Clemson, we work with nearly 2,000 employers who recruit new college graduates from all industries. We are also part of a consortium of colleges throughout the country who share job listings. Because of these efforts there are a wide variety of part-time, internship and full-time job  opportunities in ClemsonJobLink. Click here for more information about using ClemsonJobLink.

Career Fairs

Our huge campus-wide career fair serves as the kick off to the recruiting season each semester. Over 150 employers visit Clemson each semester to talk face-to-face with students about careers. We have organizations representing a wide variety of industries, including government and non-profit employers.  Visit the career fair website for upcoming fair information.

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR)

Employers participate in on-campus recruiting during the fall and spring semesters, which means their representatives come directly to campus to interview you. How convenient for you to work on your job search in between classes by conducting interviews right here on campus!  To participate, you must apply for interviews in your ClemsonJobLink account. Most resume deadlines are 3 weeks before the interview, so begin your search for opportunities early in the semester. For more tips about on-campus recruiting, visit this the Introduction to OCR page.

Job Search Assistance

Our counselors are available to help you prepare for your job search by critiquing your resume and cover letter, helping you find job opportunities, coaching you on your interview skills, and even discussing offers and acceptances.  Going directly to graduate school instead? Yep, we can help with that too. Vist the career center during our drop-in hours or call to schedule an appointment.
A wealth of job search resources, in addition to ClemsonJobLink, is available from the Job Search Tools page.
