The career fairs give Clemson students the opportunity to interact with representatives from over 200 companies and organizations over the course of two days. What are you waiting for? Update your resume at a Resume Blitz, learn how to impress at an Inside Edition workshop and attend the career fairs!

The Career Fair: Who's coming?

Engineering and Technical Industries: designed for students majoring in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Construction Science, Food Science, Packaging Science, Management, and Architecture. 

Business, Social Services, and Non-technical Industries:  designed for students majoring in Business, Social Sciences or Liberal Arts and for businesses recruiting for positions that are open to any major.

Prepare for the Fair

In order to gain the most benefit from the fair, it is important to spend time preparing before you attend.

  • Research the participating employers before the event, prepare some questions, and practice your introduction.
  • Dress professionally and bring copies of your resume.
  • Register with ClemsonJobLink by completing your account profile information and uploading your resume. Registering will make you eligible to participate in interviews after the fair.

Career Fair Workshops

Career Fair Inside Edition: The Dos and Don'ts Workshop

This interactive workshop will help you in preparing for the fairs by knowing what employers are seeking when approaching them about possible opportunities for the future. You will learn what to bring to the even, the dress, how to find what organizations will be attending and logistics of the fairs. During this time employers who frequently recruit at Clemson will give you the inside scoop on the “dos and don'ts” to make your visit productive. You will be able to ask questions as there will be plenty of time, so come prepared! All workshops located in the Center for Career and Professional Development, 316 Hendrix Student Center.

  • Sept 4: 5:30 - 6:30 pm
  • Sept 9: 6 to 7 pm
  • Sept 10: 4 to 5 pm
  • Sept 11: 6 to 7 pm
  • Sept 15: 5 to 6 pm

Resume Blitz
Need your resume critiqued before the Career Fair?  Bring a copy by to the Career Center during any of the following dates/times for a quick resume critique. Representatives from many different companies will be available to give you tips on creating a stand out resume. Time is limited. Students are attended to in the order that they arrive, please plan to arrive early.

  • September 12: 9 am to Noon and 1:30 to 4 pm
  • September 15: 9 am to Noon

All workshops are held in the Center for Career and Professional Development on the 3rd floor of Hendrix Student Center

Can I still attend the fair?

Yes, we invite the general public and students from other universities to attend our career fairs. However, only Clemson students are permitted to participate in any on-campus or after fair interviews.
