Third party agencies that recruit students for temporary, part-time, or full-time employment with organizations other than their own are subject to certain policies regarding career fair attendance. The Michelin Career Center recognizes that many third party organizations provide excellent opportunities to students, however, in order to comply with guidelines from the National Association of Colleges and Employers, we require:
- If your organization recruits on-site for one employer, you must attend the fair under the name of that employer.
- If your organization recruits for several employers, you must provide the career center with a list of employers and the types of positions for which you will be recruiting. This information should be emailed to Kate Williams at kwill@clemson.edu at the time of career fair registration.
- Third party recruiters will not disclose to any employer, including the client employer, any student information without obtaining prior written consent from the student.
Organizations failing to comply with these guidelines will be prohibited from attending the career fair. Any third party organization that charges fees to students will not be permitted to attend a career fair or participate in recruiting services. Third party organizations that are recruiting for internal positions with their organization may attend the fair without restriction.
