On ClemsonJobLink, I see “open” schedules and “pre-select” schedules. What is the difference? An employer that lists an interview as “open” means students who qualify for the position can apply and choose an interview slot. A “pre-select” schedule means that students who qualify must apply approximately three (3) weeks before the interview. Then, the employer will review resumes and accept candidates two (2) weeks prior to the interview. The accepted students will receive an email allowing them to sign up through ClemsonJobLink for a timeslot that fits their schedule. Sign up as soon as possible to assure the time you want.
What if my GPA is lower than specified? What if I missed a deadline? Contact the employer directly via email to discuss your interest in the position and ask about the possibility of interviewing. The employer’s contact information is listed on the job posting in ClemsonJobLink.
